Come along on an adventure with our herd of alpine goats. You’ll learn about alpine goat anatomy, general care and health. Learn about their favorite forage in our forests while we also identify native plants and birds. Alpine goats are excellent pack goats (we sell ours), if a pack goat is available, we’ll ask her to carry your water and snacks for you! Prepare to be out walking and on your feet for 90 minutes.

If you aren’t ready for the guided tour; our farm, forests and wetlands are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for self-touring; we provide a laminated guide for our wetland interpretive trail and our marked hiking trails. Find them in the Farm Store.

This land was inhabited since time immemorial by Upland Takelma, Latgawa, Shasta, and Athabaskan peoples, who were forced off the land and out of the area by European American settlers in the 1850s. You will learn of past logging practices, livestock impacts, wildlife, and water tables.  A walk through our regenerating wetlands and balanced forest will show you possibilities for the future. With our small demonstration farm, we endeavor to create an alternative path for agriculture.
