Birding at Willow-Witt Ranch Wild visitors turn each season at the ranch into a colorful and surprising adventure.
We make every effort to encourage wildlife to call the ranch home, from restoring our wetland meadows and planting trees to providing a wealth of seed for songbirds. So if you love to bring your binoculars to sight birds on a morning stroll, you've got to visit the ranch. Klamath Bird Observatory leads surveys and group walks here to count migratory birds in spring and fall. Renowned birder, blogger, and tour guide Harry Fuller can help you find and identify the native birds. Just click on his highlighted name; it's a link to his birding website. And even if you are out on your own, you are bound to enjoy the diversity of birds and their songs. It's another great reason to come to our farmstay or take a tour at the ranch. To read about the bird counts that have occurred here in recent years, see some great photos of birds at the ranch, or read Harry Fuller's daily birding blog - towheeblog - click on the highlighted links below: June 7, 2008
