how to get here
From Interstate 5

Directions to Willow-Witt Ranch:  From Interstate 5, take exit #14.  Drive east 1 mile on Highway 66, turn left on Dead Indian Memorial Road and go 6.6 miles. Turn left on Shale City Road, a paved Bureau of Land Management road, just past a large powerline that crosses over Dead Indian Memorial Road.  It is marked by a sign:  "Grizzly Peak Trail," and seven mailboxes.  Follow Shale City Road (you are now on public forest land) 3.2 miles. You will have crossed two cattle guards and passed a well-graveled road on your left with a small upright "Trail" sign.  Just past this road, opposite the gravel pile, turn right at our driveway, which currently has no sign, and follow it 3/4 mile to our house.  Watch for the "Family Forest" and "Watershed Friendly Steward" signs at our entry gate.  If the electric gate is closed, the keypad will give instructions for opening.
